This could not be real. Her entire body zinged like a live wire. Not once in her rather unremarkable sex life had she ever felt like this. If he didn’t get undressed and inside her soon, she might cum just from watching him. When he was down to his underwear, his eyes caught hers and, with a single movement, the boxers dropped and she could not resist. Her eyes dropped to… Oh! My! God!
There was surely no way in heaven or earth he was going to fit, not that she cared at the moment. Her itch needed scratching, and the monster between his legs had to be the key. “Holy shit! You’re huge.”
He flashed her a smile. “Why, thank you.”
Blushing a little, she lifted up her hips and pushed her panties down to her ankles. As she went to flick them away with her left foot, he reached out and stopped her. “Don’t. I have an idea.”
At this moment, she would accept any idea except for stopping. He put her panties on both ankles and then tied them so that the bases of her feet met, and once he pushed her knees apart and down, he had a clear view of her center. Instinctively, she tried to bring her knees back together, but he stopped her. “No, let me look.”
He didn't just look. Climbing onto the bed, he slid his legs between hers and under her feet, moving down to where her feet rested on his back, and his tongue… oh, his tongue did wondrous things. Starting at her core, he placed the flat of his tongue against her and dragged it upward, flicking her clitoris at the top. Squeaking, she slammed her hand over her mouth. Nathan hated when she made noises during sex. The last thing she wanted to do was—
“Don’t cover your mouth,” he said, lifting his head up. “I want to hear how much you enjoy this.”
“Really?” she asked, her hand still covering her mouth.
He chuckled, his body shaking the bed. “Yes, I do. Why wouldn’t I?”
“Nathan said I was too loud.”
“Nathan-the-idiot-who-said-your-ass-was-fat Nathan?”
“Yeah, that’s him.” His description of her ex made her giggle.
“I want loud. I want you to scream when you cum. I want to hear your moans, gasps, cries, and when I enter your body, I want to hear the uncomfortable hiss that comes from your lips as my cock fills up your wet pussy.”
Never before had any man ever said anything like that to her. “Oh.” Her hand fell to the side and he smiled, his face disappearing between her thighs again. “Yes!” she screamed as his lips wrapped around her nub, his tongue flicking up and down, side to side, eliciting sounds she had no idea she was even capable of making. “Brent!” she screamed as his tongue pushed inside her cunt, moving in and out quickly, bringing her to an orgasm so fast that lights burst in front of her eyes.
And he did not let up. His hands grasped her thighs, holding her hips in place as he continued to tongue-fuck her. Crying out, her hands found his hair and grasped hold as something began to build. She was not even sure if she knew what it was. It was big… huge… too much… An unearthly scream left her lips as her back arched and she came. All sound ceased to exist as she floated on top of the bed. His tongue slowly moved up, flicking lightly on her sore clit, before going back down and licking up her again. It was slow, torturously slow. And as two fingers entered her channel, moving just as deliberately, she slowly began to feel again. The soft wet sounds of his fingers moving in and out of her cunt combined with her panting and a groan that seemed to consistently come from Brent.
As her trembles lessened, he raised his head and at the same time, placed his hands near her waist and propelled himself forward. In one movement he was above her, his deep gray eyes staring into hers. “Ready for more?” he asked in a deep voice. The scent of her sex floated to her on his breath, and she could not stop the moan that left her as she lifted her head and kissed him. She had tasted herself before, but never on someone’s lips. It was amazing! Not so much her taste, but the taste of her added to him.
Pulling back, he surprised her as he put on a condom. How had she forgotten that little detail? Her feet being tied together was definitely a new experience, one she was quickly recognizing as something good. It just intensified everything when she could not move. Rubbing his cock along her folds, he placed it at her entrance and pushed in.
Grimacing, she turned her head to the side so he would not see her expression. Instantly he stopped pushing. “No,” he murmured, using a finger to nudge her face back up. “I want to watch you. Yes, this is uncomfortable now. But it won’t be for long.”
After pulling out slightly, he pushed in further, this time pulling a soft whimper from her lips as it felt like he was jamming a baseball bat up there. “You can do it.” He pulled out and pushed back in, this time keeping up a strong, steady pressure until finally his hips collided with hers. “There we go,” he murmured, kissing her softly. “No more pain. Just relax.”
Char was not sure what to think. Nathan had been so small she could barely feel him. Brent was huge! Would it always feel this uncomfortable?
Resting his elbows next to her shoulders, he pulled back and looked into her eyes before pushing back in, his cock sliding much easier even though she was sure she could feel every ridge as it moved along. After three or four thrusts, she realized she no longer felt discomfort. Usually she would place her feet on the bed and push her hips up to desire more, but that was not possible with her feet bound and sitting on his rump.
“More,” she whispered.
“More,” he agreed and began to speed up, each thrust strong and intense, each thrust inside of her sending her to a new, pleasurable place.
“More!” she cried, not knowing how to ask for what she needed. She needed him to bang into her, to fuck her hard.
“More.” The growl ripped from his lips as he pulled almost all the way out and then slammed in, impaling her on his huge cock.
“Yes!” she screamed, grabbing onto his shoulders as he combined the speed with the rough ramming of his own body against hers until nothing existed except the two of them. It was blissful and exciting and as she arched slightly, trying to get a better angle, he leaned on one elbow and reached between them with the other arm. As his finger rubbed quickly over her clit, she came, her body jerking and twitching as he continued to drive into her.
When his lunges became more erratic, she knew he was close, and she used her feet to push his hips even harder as he came down. On the fourth time, he let out a low moan and she felt him throb within her. Collapsing, pressing her into the mattress, Brent breathed hard against her shoulder for several minutes. She never would have expected to enjoy the feeling of a man completely putting his weight on her, but this was wonderful.
Reaching behind him, he unwound the underwear, and she spread her legs out, laughing softly at the ache from having her legs at an odd angle for who knows how long. Getting up, he walked into the bathroom to get rid of the condom and was back a few minutes later with a washcloth. To her surprise, he dipped the warm, wet cloth between her legs and actually cleaned her. When he was done, he tossed it back into the bathroom and pulled down the blanket. “Get under,” he said in a firm tone, and she slithered inside, still warm and safe from what they’d just done.
He slid in beside her, turning her over and pulling her back against his chest. Tucking his legs behind hers, he kissed the top of her head. “Good night, Char.”
“Night,” she whispered, already falling asleep.

“Brent!” Turning his head, Brent waved at Jason and pulled his truck over, parking in the small parking lot next to the clubhouse that was the one perk he took advantage of – parking just for members of the board.
“Hey, Jason,” he said, getting out of his truck and heading toward the older man who stood shivering outside of the clubhouse. “Get inside,” he chuckled as he got to the door. Jason walked in ahead of him, rubbing his arms with his hands to keep warm. “What were you doing outside?”
“Looking for you. You got a minute?”
“Of course. Let’s go back to the office
.” They took the stairs up to the third floor slowly. Jessup still insisted on walking, even at his age. As long as they went slowly, it wasn't a problem. “What’s on your mind?” Brent asked as they walked inside his office. Walking around the small desk, he flipped on the computer and sat down.
“It’s—” Jason paused and grimaced. “Look, I’m just going to say it. I’ve been researching Ms. Kendle.”
Startled, Brent stared at his friend. “Why?”
“It seemed fishy, what with her buying Jessup’s place sight unseen and moving out here so quickly.” He paused and Brent waited for him to continue. After his wonderful date with Char the night before, he had a hard time imagining she was a problem. In fact, when they woke up this morning, it was all he could do to make love to her and leave without spanking her incredible tush. Damn, but he could hardly wait to bounce his palm off it. “I’ve come up with some interesting news on the woman.”
“Unless she's a drug runner or into white slavery, I don’t think—”
“Brent, she was set to marry into the Korven family.”
It took less than a millisecond for that to make sense to him and he hissed, straightening up. “Gavin Korven’s family? That's pretty posh.” The Korvens were one of the richest families on the Northeastern shore. “Which of his sons?” Brent thought he kept his voice relatively even considering he just heard that the woman he was becoming more than fond of had been engaged to another man a short time ago. Just like that, he remembered what Char said the night before. “Nathan. Ah, shit.”
“Nathan.”
Hissing, Brent stood up and walked slowly around the room, his mind going over everything he knew about the playboy. “And?” he encouraged while he thought.
“They’re looking for her.”
Sitting back down, Brent looked at his friend. “Why?”
“They don’t know what happened to her. One day she was in town preparing to marry their son, and then next she disappeared without a trace. And get this,” Jason said, leaning forward. “She's a journalist who never caught her big break, so she has been writing stupid little articles for years.”
Instantly, Brent understood what he was saying. “You think an in-depth article on the community just might be her big break.”
“I’m sorry, Brent. I know you like her.”
Slowly shaking his head, Brent disagreed. “I haven’t felt this way since Eliza. It's more than just like. And you're sure she's a journalist?”
“Well, no,” Jason admitted. “Not firsthand. The websites she writes for are all history and women’s sites. Not exactly hard-hitting journalism. And an article could hurt us. But I’m more thinking about you.”
Chuckling, Brent nodded. “I’m forewarned, Jason. But tell me. Who else knows what you do?”
“Just my wife.”
“Tell her to tell nobody. Until we know the truth of the matter, I don't want gossip to ruin Char’s chances here. If she's a journalist out for a story, I'll figure it out. If not? I’m hoping for a lot more.”
Jason raised an eyebrow. “Well, now. You really are hooked.”
“It’s a beginning,” was Brent’s only response. And if she was a journalist after a story, it was also an ending.
The day seemed to be interminably long after that. The hours until he would pick her up for their date seemed to laugh at him as they inched forward. When five hit and he had read through the seven new applications he had been trying to review without remembering a single word, he locked everything up and went home to shower. So far he had no idea how to bring up what her reasons were for moving here, but at some point tonight he would have to get her to open up about it.
He pulled up to her garage thirty minutes later and hopped down, walking quickly up to her door. He rang the doorbell and was surprised at how long it took her to answer. When she opened the door, she smiled brightly at him, almost making him forget what he needed to do.
“Sorry, running a bit late. Come on in. What time does the movie start?”
“Seven. We’ve got time.”
Nodding, her hand moved up to her ear and he realized she must have been on a call when he rang the bell. She waved toward her sofa as she spoke. “Sure, Gena, that sounds great. I'll get you three articles by tomorrow afternoon… No, I appreciate it… Of course.” She laughed. “Talk to you tomorrow.” She hung up and walked over, leaning in and pressing her lips to his. “Hi.”
Smiling back, he pulled her onto his lap. “Hello. Have a good day?”
“Busy,” she admitted. “So many things clogging up my head, I had to get them down.”
“What do you mean?” Brent asked cautiously.
“I’m a writer,” she explained, leaning against him. “So far, I get by with writing articles for women’s magazines and some history websites. My dream is to have a novel at the top of the New York Times Bestseller list.”
“So you write fiction?” he clarified.
“Mostly. Some of the articles I write are also historical, or, when I get asked by a good friend like Gena, articles on makeup, clothing fashions, or something equally as feminine.”
Relieved that she was not a journalist, he pushed a little further. “What do you enjoy writing?”
“Lots of different genres, but my favorite right now is dystopian novels.”
Amused, he grinned. “You like to write about cruel governments with inhumane laws?”
“Of course,” she replied, grinning back. “They're fun.”
Chuckling, he pulled her close, giving her a longer, more passionate kiss. As she wrapped her arms around his shoulders, he whispered, “Ever work as a journalist?”
Laughing, she threw her head back. “Uh, no. All the rules they have to write by? No. I prefer fiction. I can write whatever I want.”
Relief flooded through him as all doubt left his system. Good. She was not a journalist. Possible crisis averted. “What do you say we go to the movies?”
Nodding, she hopped up and walked down the hallway. “Be right back! Need to get my shoes.”
“You should be wearing shoes this time of year,” he called back. “It's winter, you know.”
She made some sort of sound that clearly showed her opinion of his words, making his hand severely itch. At what point would he finally be able to swat her?
“Okay, I’m ready,” she said, walking out in a form-fitting silver sweater over dark blue jeans. Black boots completed the ensemble.
“Very nice,” he approved as she turned to grab her purse, giving him a view of her lovely derriere.
She turned and saw where he was looking. “Oh, dear, you are an ass man, aren’t you?”
Grinning wickedly at her, he grabbed her coat, which hung from a hat stand near the door, and held it open for her. “You have no idea.”
Her reticence when they first met was gone. She smiled and laughed freely, answering any question he gave her automatically, and as they pulled into the parking lot next to the clubhouse, she leaned forward in her seat and spotted the small theater. “Ahh, it’s cute,” she said with a smirk.
Jason was the first person he saw as the two of them walked into the theater. Jason sat in the middle next to his wife, Rose, and three of their grandchildren who were visiting. “Brent,” he called, lifting his hand in a wave.
Guiding Char with a hand on her lower back, Brent led her to their row. “Jason, good to see you, as always,” he said, while at the same time raising an eyebrow far enough to make his friend smile. Yes, he had done this on purpose. Turning to his wife, Brent smiled. “Rose, this is fortuitous. Let me introduce Char Kendle. She bought the old Jessup place.”
Rose smiled warmly at the woman by his side. “It's nice to meet you, Char. What brought you to Colorado?” she asked as the two sat nearby.
Inwardly Brent rolled his eyes. Nothing like beating a dead horse. Jason and Rose had been his friends from the day he moved into their brownstone, taking a room they had for let. They would make sure Char was not up to somethi
ng; in essence, they were trying to save Brent from himself. Which was amusing, considering the fact that they were the ones always telling him to date.
“I needed a change,” Char said, and Brent could tell by her body language that she did not want to talk about it. But then, if he had just skipped out on his fiancé for some reason, he probably would not want to talk about it either. “And even with the snow, I love Corbin’s Bend so far.”
Rose laughed softly. “You’ll get used to it. When the weather's good, a bunch of us go down to Denver to stock up on essentials. You should come with us next time we go.” Relieved that Rose was including Char, Brent sat back and waited for the movie to start, taking Char’s tiny hand in his. As she responded to something Rose said, she turned, looked down at their hands, and smiled at him before turning back to the other woman.
By the time the movie started, the two were talking like good friends.

“Okay, so I was expecting folding chairs,” Char admitted after they arrived back at her place, making him laugh. “But that theater is really cute. Comfortable seating, large screen… there was one downside though.”
“What was that?” Brent asked, following her inside and shutting the door behind them.
“No Red Vines at the candy counter. How can you run a theater without them?” she asked, looking at him over her shoulder with a grin.
“Well, usually we like to keep the Red Vines eaters out of the theater,” he explained in mock seriousness. “Guess we will have to add your name to the list of those not admitted.”
“Shush,” she said, laughing. “Want some hot chocolate?”
“Love some.” He followed her into the kitchen and leaned against the center island as she gathered the ingredients from her cupboards.
“I’ve been trying to figure out what Kelli did when she made me that cup of hot chocolate,” she said, putting a pot on the stove and pouring milk into it. “It was the best I have ever had, but so far, I haven’t come close.”
“Where’s your alcohol?” he asked.
Surprised, she pointed into the pantry. He walked in, noticing how orderly it was. Two bottles of liquor sat off to the side, but they were not right. “You got any vodka?” he called out.
